What we're building · for the team

A family of trusted trades companies — built to grow, and built to last.

One brand. Real licenses. Great people. Smart systems. Here's the whole picture, in plain terms.

The big idea

We're building a group of skilled-trades companies under one trusted name — Verified — starting with electrical and growing from there. The plan has three moves: launch a sharp, in-demand service; buy and build by acquiring great little shops whose owners are retiring and rolling them into one professional company; and, when it's big and well-run, sell the whole platform to a national buyer for far more than the parts cost. David funds it. Steve runs it. We build something real along the way.

1

Launch

Stand up Verified Electric with one sharp offer people genuinely need, and prove it makes money.

2

Buy & build

Acquire retiring owners' shops, fold them into one brand with clean systems, and grow the crews.

3

Sell

A big, professional platform sells for a premium — the payoff for everyone who built it.

The wedge — why electrical, why now

~19k

Scottsdale homes built in the 1970s that need an electrical panel upgrade to handle modern life — EV chargers, AC, the works. It's not a want, it's a need — and every job opens the door to more work. That's a demand engine we can point our first trucks at from day one.

How it grows — buy the shops nobody's replacing

All over the Valley, skilled electricians in their 60s own a one- or two-truck shop with loyal customers and no one to hand it to when they retire. We buy those shops fairly — the owner keeps earning if they want — and bring them under the Verified brand with The Verified System — an AI-powered back office, a standardized field kit, playbooks, and our estimation process — and one professional standard. Four or five of those, rolled together, become a company a national buyer pays a premium for. Buy small, build it up, sell the platform.

One checkmark brand across the trades — and because we own several, one remodel can send work to two or three Verified companies at once.

The team — who does what

Founder & CEO
Steve

Runs the whole business — sales, estimating, buying the shops, and The Verified System. The engine and the closer.

Capital partner
David

Funds the launch and the acquisitions, and gets paid back first with a preferred return. Backs the plan; Steve drives it.

Field lead · License
Adrian

The licensed electrician who anchors Verified Electric and leads the field. An owner in the business he builds.

Construction lead
Director of Construction

Runs the construction side under Steve's license — a seasoned construction leader — an owner in that line as it grows.

Operations & customer manager · the backbone
Sarah

The human heart of the operation. Sarah runs the Ops Desk: scheduling every job, handling billing and deposits, keeping the books clean in QuickBooks, and overseeing the AI assistant ("Edna") and a remote support team. Steve is out front; Sarah keeps every customer handled and every dollar tracked — the trust and organization the whole company runs on. A real role with a real salary the business can't operate without.

The path — roughly how it unfolds

Months 0–4

Launch

Verified Electric goes live; first panel jobs sold, scheduled, and installed.

Year 1

Prove it

Dial in the model, grow the crews, add Verified Construction, build the buy list.

Years 2–3

Buy & build

Acquire and fold in shops; one brand, one back office, real scale.

Years 4–5

The payoff

A professional platform, sold for a premium — or held for the cash flow.

That's the whole thing. A need we can meet today, a smart way to grow it, a brand people trust, and a team where everyone has a real stake in making it work — and you, Sarah, are at the center of it. We build something good, we take care of our customers, and we all win when it works.
